Replacement round Orbix hatch for Wilderness Systems kayaks made before 2015. Can be used for new custom hatch installations on any kayak with the allowable deck space.

Outside diameter is 9.75 inches (not including the hinge). The working opening (Iid) is approximately 8 1/4 inches. Deck cut-out approximately 8 9/16 inches. From the center of the 3 O’Clock screw to the center of the 9 O’Clock screw is 9 3/16 inches.

Kit includes hatch, foam rubber deck gasket and mounting hardware. You may be better served by using clear silicone sealant under the rim/flange. Foam rubber gaskets will compress over time and fail.

The Wilderness Systems Rudder Block with Pin is the replacement central pin and black plastic center of the rudder assembly designed specifically for the rudder kit that goes on the Wilderness Systems Northstar Tandem Expedition Kayak.

Mid Pin rudder bracket. Sometimes referred to as a Gudgeon, this is best used for replacement of a damaged or bent rudder bracket on a Wilderness Systems kayak made before 2009. It can also be used to install some non-Wilderness Systems rudder kits and kayaks with a flat stern, as well as many modern Wilderness Systems kayak made in or after 2010, commony outfitted with a plastic BTS bracket.

Bolt holes in the bracket are ¾ of an inch on center, one hole is oval to accommodate variations. Holes for ruder pin are 3/8 inch dia. Overall size is 2 3/8" long by 1 5/8" high, by 1" wide.

Made of heavy bent steel bar stock, stamped T-FAB, with a welded pin.
